In a few short hours Krista and I and my buddy Jack and his wife Kim will be heading to Albuquerque to spend two days watching the Rockies play the Mariners. 

I found out that for the first game Isotopes Park opens up 2 1/2 hours early.That’s plenty of time to snag a Ken Griffey Jr autograph right?

The Rays Renegade said to do everything short of jumping on the field to get Griffey’s autograph so I’m gonna take him at his word.

Isotopes Park is a beautiful stadium. I don’t often get to check out new stadiums so I’m gonna have fun with this one. This stadium has a really nice grassy berm in right field so snagging should be fun.

                            I’m itching to get out there and catch my first one of the season.

The Isotopes are the AAA affiliate of the LA Dodgers and since its opening, Isotopes Park has routinely been ranked among the top five minor league ballparks in the nation.                                  I’ll let you know…We’ll be back in a couple of days.
