9/12/09 Rockies vs Padres Game 1
The Padres at home in San Diego are never an easy win for the Rockies.
Each new game turns out to be a come from behind thriller with a new Rockie stepping up to help this team gain ground on the "Blueballed" Dodgers.
Today was Yorvit's Torrealba's turn. Yorvit entered the game in the seventh inning. In the ninth inning with two out Torealba hit a three-run double and the Rockies take game 1...... 4-1 in San Diego.
If watching the Rockies play in ball September doesn't get your blood pumping you must have ED.

The Rockies are "Raising Up" and I see no signs of them getting SOFT.

Yorvit Torrealba doesn't want to play second fiddle to anyone, you've got to respect that.

Jason Giambi...Great player, great timing, great presence.
I hear Rockies talk everywhere I go now. People now know, the Country now knows. They all know what I've known all season. The Rockies are the real deal.
Go ahead folks,...it's ok...Hop on the Rockies bandwagon.

OMG! LOL. I am afraid to ask where yu got that pic. Yeah what a helluva ride! I could not believe it last night that your Rockies pulled it off. Well the Dodgers just got to keep taking care of business themselves. Kuroda-san did an amazing job last night and our hitters came thru! Dodgers own Cain.

I agree on Jim Tracy for manager. He has done an great job. I liked him as a Dodger. I liked his pitching coach too that he took to Pittsburgh (Jim Coulborn).

Our team is F*ing amazing and Tracy definitely deserves Manager of the Year. How cool is it to be a Rockies fan?!!!! Some say this is like 2007 all over again but I disagree. This year is way better because it started back when Tracy took over and they've kept it going all season since!
