One of the reason I enjoy blogging on MLBLogs is I’m surrounded by people who have a passion for baseball. I tell you what, I have butterflies in my stomach in anticipation of the Rockies home opener. Is it just me? Blogging has given me a new perspective on baseball and I feel like I’m the verge of seeing something special from the Rockies.

An overlooked underdog team just waiting for the right moment to show the world that they’re a force to be reckoned with.

I believe, but then I’ve always believed…DThumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image

    Hey D,
The countdown to the home opener is on! Time to put a fresh memorycard and batteries in the camera, dust-off my cap, dig out the glove, figure out what to take to get autographed, print out a list of the Hagg’n rules, and wonder how I’m going to make it til Friday!

R-Luv-Lol-I’ve had all that stuff ready for weeks. I’m going to put up a link on the sidebar as a quick reference to the Hagg’n rules. Are you showing up for BP?
JULIA-Nice, I know you were going crazy in anticipation. We do live for this.
TOBY-Welcome to the Rant brotha, I’ll check out your blog…D

When my dad asked which Mets tickets I wanted him to try to get, I said all of them, but that wasn’t going to happen, so I narrowed it down to the Rockies and a few other teams. I won’t be rooting for them, but I’ll be watching them!

You can say that blogging has opened a new door of expression for your love of baseball. I know I seem to have a heightened passion and awareness of the game since I began writing again.
I can see some of the nuances and routines that used to just seem to flow with the game and go unnoticed. Blogging made me love baseball again beyond what I expected.
But winnig also brought that out too.
