Rockies switch bait and snag the Marlins

Ubaldo Jimenez..Wow..That was some amazing pitching tonight and nice job saving the Rockies some face in Florida.

This guy is a young, well mannered,  respectful player who can throw a hundred mile an hour fastball if he chooses to. Good things are going to continue to happen to him.

Ubaldo pitched seven full innings and allowed only two hits and walked three. He  struckout ten Marlins.

Jimenez has won six of his last seven starts and currently has as streak of four wins. WOW !

HIs  ERA is 1.29 in the last four games he has pitched..BradH.jpg

Rockies were scoreless until the third inning when Brad Hawpe hit a line drive to center to score Taveras and Holliday.

Chris Iannetta hit a single to center field in the fifth and he was able to score Tulowitzki and Holliday. He is big part of the Rockies sucess recently.

Also in the same inning, Omar Quintanilla hit a grounder to left field that  scored home Ian Stewart

The  Marlins remained scoreless until the bottom of the ninth when Josh Willingham singled on a line drive to Matt Holliday and was able to score Jeremy Hermida. Then, Mike Jacobs hit a sacrifice fly to Taveras to score Jorge Cantu. Those would be the Marlins only two runs.

Brian Fuentes picks up his 19th win this season.

Final Score for this sweatfest…5-2 Rockies over the Marlins.

Rockies and  the Marlins are tied one a piece in this four game set.

The Mobile Blog Unit

Mobile Blog.jpgWhat do you think of my idea?

Starting out at Spring Training and going  through the entire MLB season.

Visiting and blogging about the road trip experiences on the way to each Stadium.

Giving a batting practice play by play and summary. Maybe reviewing each Stadiums food, layout, Ushers, fans, etc,.

How about meeting up with the MLbloggers from each city the Moblie Blog visits??

We would be trying to capture the essence of each stadium, in pictures and video. Then getting it online as soon and as often as possible.

Blogging from the stadium with a laptop and an uplink while watching the game…Imagine being able to watch live snagging at  batting practice. I have lots of ideas and the possibilities are endless.

The big RV traveling across the country and sending out good baseball vibes and along the way introducing folks to and blogging in general.

Think of it as the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile of MLB.

What a way to spend seven months of a year !!.I thought I would share it with you all.

Let me know what you think?….D
