Rockies switch bait and snag the Marlins

Ubaldo Jimenez..Wow..That was some amazing pitching tonight and nice job saving the Rockies some face in Florida.
This guy is a young, well mannered, respectful player who can throw a hundred mile an hour fastball if he chooses to. Good things are going to continue to happen to him.
Ubaldo pitched seven full innings and allowed only two hits and walked three. He struckout ten Marlins.
Jimenez has won six of his last seven starts and currently has as streak of four wins. WOW !

Rockies were scoreless until the third inning when Brad Hawpe hit a line drive to center to score Taveras and Holliday.
Chris Iannetta hit a single to center field in the fifth and he was able to score Tulowitzki and Holliday. He is big part of the Rockies sucess recently.
Also in the same inning, Omar Quintanilla hit a grounder to left field that scored home Ian Stewart
The Marlins remained scoreless until the bottom of the ninth when Josh Willingham singled on a line drive to Matt Holliday and was able to score Jeremy Hermida. Then, Mike Jacobs hit a sacrifice fly to Taveras to score Jorge Cantu. Those would be the Marlins only two runs.
Brian Fuentes picks up his 19th win this season.
